I wanted a better, smarter way to get things done — and that idea grew into what is now The Back Office VA. 

Today, we help business owners across New Zealand and Australia reclaim their time and focus on what truly matters. By combining the skills of our Academy-Certified Virtual Assistants with the power of AI-driven systems, we deliver smart, reliable support that feels both personal and professional.

Her bubbly personality and people-first approach make her a natural connector — bridging business owners and teams with care, clarity, and professionalism.

Business Engagement Representative

With professional experience across Trustpower, SKY, Bupa, and Clean Heat Australia, Tiyanna has contributed to the growth of these companies through her involvement in various engagement and campaign projects across New Zealand and Australia. Her work in these roles honed her ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and create meaningful experiences that foster long-term trust.

Her calm energy, adaptability, and genuine care shine through in everything she does. Whether she’s reconnecting with business partners, engaging new clients, or supporting outreach campaigns, Tiyanna represents TBO’s commitment to authentic, people-first connection across both sides of the Tasman.

In-House Payroll Administrator (NZ)

Clyde is our in-house Payroll Administrator based right here in New Zealand, keeping our numbers — and our team — in perfect balance. With a sharp eye for detail and a steady, dependable approach, he handles payroll processing, timesheets, and compliance with care and consistency. Working closely with our NZ operations team, Clyde takes the stress of payroll off business owners’ shoulders, ensuring every pay run is handled accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local standards.

Angelica supports insurance advisers with precision and care — managing client files, policy updates, and insurer follow-ups to keep everything running seamlessly and compliant.
